ElliptiFit: The hottest new workout craze

Move over cycling, ElliptiFit is in town. Well, West LA, that is. ElliptiFit is a new workout that’s an awesome alternative for a high-intensity cardio workout on the elliptical rather than the mundane 1 hour long steady pace session. The best part is that you get the effects and good time of a workout class, but can do the workout at any gym for free if you can’t make it to the studio!

Introduce yourself & how you created ElliptiFit!

Hi! I am the creator/founder of ElliptiFit where we offer a full body workout including toning and cardio all utilizing an elliptical trainer in a 45 minute pumped up group X extravaganza! I created the class to address key training objectives - weight loss - muscle toning - amplified energy and physical performance.

What does “being healthy” mean to you?

Being healthy is physical, mental and social.  It is important to move your body doing something you enjoy, find a balance between what you must do and what you must do to stay sane and surround your self with positive people.  I offer to our clients that all they have to do is walk through the studio door and we will take care of the rest.

What makes ElliptiFit so special?

Not only are the staff AND clients pure sunshine, ElliptiFit is a boutique that offers a fully gratifying workout in a short amount of time.

What advice do you have for those looking to improve their fitness?

For those looking to improve their fitness I recommend getting a heart rate monitor and finding something they enjoy that will elevate their heart rate.  Weather its group fitness, hiking with their dog, or playing a pick up game at the basketball court they can see improvements scientifically by noting improved recovery time.

What do you think is necessary for every workout?

Motivation is necessary for every workout!  Take a great class!  Make a new playlist!  Find a workout buddy!!  Reward your self with a new pair of skinny jeans!

What’s your go-to pre & post-workout snack?

My favorite snack is from My Fit Foods called Picnic Time - Yummmm!  The perfect balance of protein carbs and flavors!

What’s in your gym bag?

In my workout bag you will find…arm warmers, Victoria Secret ‘Such a Flirt’ lotion, and water.

Favorite workout jam?

Today the Jam is Give Me Everything - RokCity Hard Mix
